Enter your last monthly wage, your dates and how the job ended.
How the award is worked out
Half a month's wage for each of the first five years, then one month's wage for each year after. Part-years count in proportion. The last wage is used.
If you resign: under 2 years nothing, 2 to 5 years one third, over 5 and under 10 years two thirds, 10 years or more the full award.
Full award even when you leave yourself: employer breach, force majeure, or a female worker within 6 months of marriage or 3 months of childbirth.
No award after dismissal for listed misconduct, or when the contract ends during probation.
Estimate only. The result is a general calculation from Labor Law Articles 84–88. Your actual entitlement depends on your contract, wage components and the facts of your case, and is decided by your employer, the Ministry (HRSD) or the labor courts. Use the official HRSD calculator and seek qualified advice before relying on it.
Life in the Kingdom, step by step
From your first iqama to final exit: procedures, your rights at work, driving, Hajj and Umrah, and the rules every resident must follow. Fees change often, so every guide links to the official source.
Guides are available in English and Urdu. Switch to اردو at the top. Arabic translation is open for contributors.
General information, not advice. These guides summarise publicly available rules in plain language. They are not legal advice or a recommendation to take any action. Procedures, fees and fines change without notice and can differ by case. The official portal linked in each guide is the only authoritative source.
